Updating Autofinisher

Follow the steps below to update the Deacom Autofinisher application. Information on installing the Autofinisher application is available via the Autofinisher page. Note: After upgrading to a newer version of Deacom, the Autofinisher should always be updated.

  1. After upgrading Deacom to a newer version, navigate to “ C:\Program Files\Deacom\AutoFinisher\Service”  folder and run the “AutoFinisher.Service.Updater.exe” executable
  2. A from will appear confirming that the .NET Framework version has been checked and verified.
  3. After a few seconds it will disappear
  4. Verify your IP Address is updated in your Deacom Production folder Deacom.ini file and the Autofinisher folder in your “ C:\Program Files\Deacom\AutoFinisher\Service” folder
  5. Launch the Automation Console in your Deacom Production folder
  6. Delete the AutoFinisher shortcut on your desktop
  7. This is not updated in the update procedure and will display an error if you attempt to launch it
  8. Navigate to your Deacom Production folder and run the “autofinisher.updateagent.exe” executable to launch AutoFinisher
  9. A new shortcut is added to your desktop for this version
  10. AutoFinisher is now upgraded on the PC
