APIs Used by Deacom

API Overview

Application programming interfaces, or API's, are protocols that may be used as an interface by software components to communicate with each other. An API may include specifications for routines, data structures, object classes, and variables. Deacom’s uses APIs to interact with data owned by the Deacom database in a controlled manner. These APIs may run scheduled or automated tasks, provide bridges between applications, or import and extract certain types of information that require Deacom business logic – all while maintaining a consistent validation process and data integrity. Deacom is constantly exposing new APIs based on the needs of our customers and our desire for an ever growing functional foundation.
