De-Issue - Un-Reserve

The De-issue/Un-reserve transaction is used to de-issue and un-reserve lots, expired or not, that have been previously issued or reserved to Jobs, Sales Orders, and Master Lots. Users have the ability to bulk un-reserve sales orders via the Inventory Pre-Staging form. Users with access to the Inventory menu will have access to the De-issue/Un-reserve transaction. Within this form, individual Lot quantities to de-issue may be modified via the Edit Quantity form by selecting the desired Lot and clicking "Modify".

Field/Button	Description
De-issue All	If clicked, all quantities listed in the "Issued" column will be copied to the "To De-issue" column and all corresponding lots will be de-issued/un-reserved once the "Save" button is clicked. The security setting, "Inventory - De-Issue All" controls access to this checkbox.
Date	The date that will be used to de-issue/un-reserve the selected Lots.
Type	Pick list used to select where material will be de-issued/un-reserved from. Options are: Job - Select when de-issuing inventory Master Lot - Select when de-issuing a Lot Sale - Select when un-reserving inventory Staging Staging - Job Staging - Sale
Job Number/Master Lot/Sales Order	Search field used to select a specific Job, Master Lot, or Sales Order, depending on the selection in the "Type" field. Displays as: "Job Number" when "Type" is set to "Job", "Staging", or "Staging - Job". "Master Lot" when "Type" is set to "Master Lot". "Sales Order" when "Type" is set to "Sale" or "Staging - Sale". Disabled when "Type" is set to "Staging".
Facility	Search field used to specify the Facility in which the parts to be de-issued currently reside. Disabled when the "Retain Current Location" flag is checked.
Location Type	Search field used to specify the Location Type in which the parts to be de-issued currently reside. Disabled when the "Retain Current Location" flag is checked.
New Location	Search field used to specify the Location to which the parts to be de-issued should be sent. Disabled when the "Retain Current Location" flag is checked.
To Master Lot	Search box indicating destination to move partial quantities from one master lot to another master lot. When a master lot is selected in the search box, the Create Master Lot checkbox is disabled This field is cleared (beginning in version 17.04.005) when selecting "Master Lot" in the Type field. The de-issue process varies based on how this field is set: If no master lots is selected in this field, the system will de-issue the lots selected from the master lot specified in the "Master Lot" field. Lots will be placed into the "Inventory Type" specified. If a master lot is selected in this field, the system will set "Inventory Type" to match the status of the inventory in the "To Master Lot", and then disable the "Inventory Type" field. The lots that are de-issued from one master lot and placed in another will inherit the same inventory status as the lots in the to master lot. Also, the "Location Type" and "Location" will be set to match the location of the "To Master Lot" and then disabled.
Inventory Type	Dropdown field with options to select which inventory segments the de-issued/un-reserved inventory will be placed back into. The options available depending on the selection made in the "Type" field above: Type of "Job", options are: Inventory, Quarantine, Staging, Staging/Job Type of "Master Lot", options are: Inventory, Quarantine, Staging, Staging/Job Type of "Sale", options are: Inventory, Quarantine, Staging, Staging/Sale Type of "Staging", options are: Inventory, Quarantine Type of "Staging / Job", options are: Inventory, Quarantine Type of "Staging / Sale", options are: Inventory, Quarantine Notes: The Quarantine option is only enabled when the user has the security Inventory - move to quarantine set to yes. This field is useful in situations where materials being de-issued may not be acceptable as good inventory and must be evaluated either by inventory control personnel or QC personnel before being available as good inventory. "Inventory" is always the default option.
Retain Current Location	If checked, the Lot will retain its current Location when de-issued. Unavailable, and set to True, when using Job Type of "Planning".
Print Lot Labels	If checked, Lot Labels will be printed for all Parts/Lots that are being de-issued, regardless of if Lots are being de-issued from Sales Orders, Jobs, Master Lots, or Staging. The default for having this flag checked is driven by the "Print Labels While De-Issuing" flag in Production Options.
Create Master Lot	If checked: a new Master Lot will be created with the inventory. the To Master Lot search box is disabled. Retain Current Location and New Location will be disabled on this form. Notes This field will be disabled if Type is set to Master Lot. Unavailable when using Job Type of "Planning".
Print Master Lot Labels	If checked, the Master Lot labels will display the Labels form. Requires CreateMaster Lot to be checked.
Part Number	Item number that will be de-issued.
Description	Item description as defined on the Item Master.
Lot	Displays the first User Lot from which the selected item will be de-issued.
Location	Displays the current Location of the Lot.
Issued	Actual quantity already issued.
To De-issue	Actual quantity that will be de-issued. May be adjusted as needed via the "Modify" button.
New Location	The Location to which de-issued Lots will be sent.
Serial	Displays the Serial Number for the Lot if utilizing the Serialization functionality.
System	Displays the System Lot Number associated with the User Lot.
